Joe Morrison
Joe Morrison joined EPC Real Estate Group as Vice President of Development in 2026. He attended the University of Kansas and brings extensive experience in hospitality and real estate development. At EPC, Joe leads development initiatives with a focus on creating distinctive projects that elevate both brand and place.
Joe is a seasoned real estate development leader with a career spanning more than $350 million in actualized transactions and developments. He has led the creation of over 1.1 million square feet and 1,300+ hotel keys across a diverse portfolio of assets, including select-service and boutique hotels, adaptive-reuse projects, dual-branded concepts, and large-scale mixed-use environments. His work is defined by a commitment to thoughtful design, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
His expertise spans the full real estate lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility and underwriting through entitlements, public-private partnerships, and tax-incentive structuring, to construction, stabilization, and asset management. Joe has also led complex situations including distressed debt resolutions, receivership workouts, and major repositioning, consistently identifying opportunities to unlock value in evolving markets. Among his notable achievements is the successful execution and exit of a multi-hotel portfolio. His longstanding collaboration with Marriott International reflects a shared focus on delivering elevated guest experiences and enduring brand value.
