The City of Wichita created a district on the west side of downtown next to the Arkansas River, the Wichita Wingnuts ball park and the new $33 million public library. The site is along the Douglas Avenue corridor in the Delano neighborhood Revitalization Area located just went of downtown Wichita, Kansas. The City of Wichita has focused on redevelopment of the area for decades to achieve their vision for the downtown area through private investment.
