Delano Ballpark District

Construction is underway on Delano Ballpark District, a mixed-use development at the northeast corner of S. McLean Blvd and W. Maple St, directly across McLean from Equity Bank Park. Developed by Kansas City-based EPC Real Estate Group, the project brings hospitality, residential and retail to the west bank of the Arkansas River in Wichita’s Delano neighborhood.

The development includes the Wichita Tribute Hotel (working name), a seven-story, 160-room hotel under Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, featuring a riverfront lobby bar, a rooftop restaurant and cocktail lounge, and dedicated meeting space. Adjacent to the hotel, 192 residences will rise above 10,000 square feet of street-level retail. The project also delivers structured parking and improvements along the riverbank. Designed by DLR Group and built by Wichita-based Centric, with financing from Capitol Federal, the hotel is on an approximately 18-month build schedule, with hotel and residential openings intended to align in 2028. The hotel’s full brand identity and residential branding will be announced at a later date.
