Steve Coon is a Principal in EPC Real Estate Group. His responsibilities cover both development and operations. Steve also evaluates investment opportunities and directs planning and structuring of these ventures.
As a Principal and the President of EPC Real Estate Group, LLC, Mike focuses on the Company’s long range planning, implementation of practices that strengthen the foundation of the company, pursuing growth opportunities, and the creation and financing of innovative developments that are rewarding for both customers and investors alike.
Brendon has had a number of management rolls in multiple projects since he joined EPC in 2012. After graduating with a BSBA in Finance, Brendon started as a project manager during construction of the Village at Mission Farms. His experience has been refined on all EPC developments since then and continues to focus on new development and construction management.
As Vice President of Development, Austin leverages his experience to oversee all facets of the development process. His responsibilities include project feasibility, market analysis, entitlements, project economics, design, and construction management for projects in Kansas City and the surrounding region.
Nathan Studtmann joined EPC Real Estate Group in 2017 as Director of Finance to direct the accounting functions and financial reporting of the company. Nathan brings experience in all aspects of real estate accounting and management, internal control implementation, treasury and cash management, and lender/investor relations.
Asset Management Team
Denise Yates joined EPC Real Estate Group in 2004. With over 30 years of industry experience, Denise currently serves as VP of Development/Operations for EPC. She is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations including leasing, maintenance, marketing and financial reporting.
Natalie joined the EPC team in 2014 where she concluded the lease up at Highlands Lodge in Overland Park. She has been directly involved and over-seen 6 of our communities prior to moving into her role as an Asset Manager. Natalie brings over 15 years’ experience to the table and currently holds her Certified Apartment Manager designation as well as her Leadership, Education and Development designation.
Annie Hiatt joined EPC Real Estate Group in 2013 as Community Manager of Highlands Lodge. In 2014 she became an Asset Manager and is responsible for new project start ups, lease ups and oversight of stabilized properties.
Nicole Yates joined EPC Real Estate Group in 2015 as a Community Manager at 51Main, where she was awarded the AAKC Rookie of the Year. She became a Market Specialist in early 2016, where her primary responsibilities are to understand the vision that’s created for each community and translate that into developing relationships with residents and business owners to initiate a successful lease up.
